Kansas City Lowball
A form of lowball poker played for a deuce to seven low.
Keep Honest
To call an opponent on the river, even though you believe he has a
better hand than you do.
Keep Them Honest
To call at the end of a hand to prevent someone from bluffing.
Key Card
A card that gives you a big draw or makes your hand.
Key Hand
In a session or tournament, the one hand that ends up being a turning
point for the player, either for better or worse.
Kibitzer
A non-playing spectator; a railbird.
Kick It
To Raise
Kicker
An unpaired card used to determine the better of two near-equivalent
hands. For instance, suppose you have AK and your opponent has AQ. If
the flop has an ace in it, you both have a pair of aces, but you have a
king kicker.
Kill Pot
A method to stimulate action. It is a forced bet by someone who has
just won a pot.
Kill
A game in which a player may place an extra bet, causing the betting
limits to go up for just that hand. The player posting the bet is the
'killer,' and the hand is considered a 'kill pot.'
Knave
